Explained: IPCC Special Report on the Ocean and Cryosphere
BY JOHN LANG
Fingers crossed, this is the first of many graphics I’ll present on future IPCC findings. Because there’s no other issue where the gap is wider between what’s politically acceptable and what’s scientifically necessary than it is on climate change, much more visual communication is needed. Climate change is a timed test, and as a consequence, so is communicating climate change to the public and policymakers.
If you’d like to use the above on your own site or in policy materials, please drop me an email — more than happy to provide it in different formats.
Lastly, a big shout out to the B, Will Pickering, for voluntarily helping with the accompanying video. The man. Enjoy Sydney mate — grain of salt.
